Holy frik, that was so good and it was exactly what I was browsing for tonight. Your pacing and flashbacks are effortless, as is your attention to detail, and you nailed the ending to boot. Fantastic one-shot.

Oh what I would do for a sequel in Dean's POV! Man-that was AMAAAAAAZZZZIINNNGGG! DUDE! So much awesome in so few words...I can't EVEN tell you how much I liked this! Man-the emotion Dean showed and how beautifully you described everything? Absolutely amazing! XD

The ending was perfect too! Except- I didn't want it to end! Although the apology was given and Sammy was forgiven, I would still have loved to see the aftermath-maybe even some John too!

But that's just me wanting more. ;3 It really was good and it is soooo going on my favorites list. :D

I love this story beyond words. Seriously. It's one of my favorite one-shots on this site, and I've read a lot of fanfictions. But this - this is a masterpiece.

Your characters are wonderful - Sam's so in character, I heard his voice through this whole piece. It's just lovely, really. Dean is written just as nicely: gruff, worried, fiercely protective... I love it all.

I'm really concerned about one thing, though - did Dean think Sam jumped? Or would he have realized that there had to be some sort of explaination? This really bothers me, just because I can imagine Dean getting really upset and overbearing but treating Sam like he's made of porcelain, thinking Sam is suicidal and depressed.

But truly, this story is beautiful, and a great idea of what the Winchesters would have been like in their teenage years. Amazing story, and that you for sharing it with us.
