And thus, the striking similiarities between both worlds are brought to the forefront! Thanks for not leaving that out. Paper plates, modern-like cities, jeeps; all very like modern earth. And then, like Jack said, the different backgrounds, ways of dress, military organizations. Definitely /not/ your typical Goa'uld world, but then again, Daniel was already told that they didn't know what a Gao'uld was. This could be a good alliance, from the SGC's perspective. But GW world might not like being dragged into an galactic war so soon after they finally settled themselves down.
I'm looking forward to reading more!

Well... Jack is going to be surprised again. I think he's forgetting the whole "Herro is the strongest of the five" deal that Daniel mentioned before. Plus, Heero's got that whole "follow the mission, let nothing interfere" thing going for him. Is he still operating on the old personality? The one he regressed to? Guess we'll find out.
It is fun to get little clues about what happened before the other four pilots broke into the SGC and snatched back Heero. Can't wait to learn more about how Heero ended up with a Gao'uld and thus rescued by SG1.
It's a shame Duo tumbled, but meh, plot points. Highlights to the Gundam pilots that SG1 has some dangerous tricks themselves.

Ah. Your note explains what I was wondering about Sam being oddly sidelined. Eh, sometimes characters just do that, don't they, though? AND YES! That was the backstory I was looking for! Damn. Poor Heero. As if the guy didn't have enough issues already...

Side note (I noticed this in the last chapter but didn't say anything): "onna" is Japanese, but Wufei is Chinese? I mean, obviously they can all speak multiple languages, but... odd?

Well we definitely could use some more "enemy of my enemy is my friend" in here.
Oh, and some real coffee. That would be a plus.

Okay, so... this is awesome. But also kind of heartbreaking in that way that anything is when you are seeing the conflict with equal emotion from both sides. Kokoro no argh.

And I continue to be amused at SG-1's failed attempts at remembering the names... although in their defense their only information on the subject WAS coming from a half-assed jumble of Maxwellian nicknames... lol

And I fully anticipate a bullheaded rescue attempt from Jack and co. any moment now. Alien black-ops be damned they don't get to keep Danny without a fight.

SG1 don't know these guys from Adam. How is Duo a thief, Quatre a politician, et al ad nauseum, to them? THEY DON'T KNOW THEIR FREAKING BACKGROUNDS.

They left SG1's Earth vulnerable to attack all for one guy... SG1 has a right to be pissed, and quite frankly it was childish of GW team to do it.

Can you do a followup that doesn't make me hate the hell out of the Gundam boys? I love both series, but the GW boys are such arrogant little shits in this. I can't believe this but I actively hate them in this and want them to die.
