This is the most insightful possible reason for Rosalie's behavior towards Bella: her own insecurities. It all seems very logical and well reasoned. I always felt like Rosalie got the short end of the stick too in not even having a super power (unless super-sexy counts ;).

When doesn't Bella have a moment of crisis?
I thought you might have Bella overhearing Rosalie play... probably another time.

I love how Rosalie melted for Bella. And I like how you are keeping with the inner fortitude of a "Hale" by having Rosalie make a promise with herself to protect Bella (from herself or Edward if need be).

I think it would be nice if you gave Rosalie even more dynamics by expanding her interests. I think reading car magazines wouldn't be able to keep her occupied that much. Maybe she could be putting together model cars, or engineering cars. I would like to think, that if I lived as a youth until the age of 100 plus, that I would need (and do) more than mass produced biweekly mags to keep me sharp (certainly college instead of high school).

This fic is absolutely amazing. I'm sure everyone has told you so already, but I thought I'd have to as well - leaving this story un-commented is just not possible.

I love the way you portrayed Rosalie, and how you showed that no family is perfect, not even our favourite vampires. The 'flaws' you found for everyone were completely in character, and very credible.
The fall out was... heavy. I suffered with them; and in the end I also felt that it was worth it.
Probably my favourite scene is when Emmet has finished his gifts and is basically glowing, barely able to wait until he gets to give them to his family - and then the way Esme reacts when he comes to find her carrying a hammer. This scene speaks volumes about those two; and I adore it.
Also, i love your style. It's a pleasure to read. Please never give up writing.
