I've had this story favorited for years, and found myself on a re-read of my old favorites. I was dismayed to find that I never said how much I enjoy this. It makes me cry every time I read it, especially the first chapter. A beautiful portrayal of the behind-the-scenes heartbreak.

This is excellent. I particularly liked the chapter with the Horta. It's also nice that you can tell who all the characters are even if they're not named. How everything connects in this timeline is written well. I look forward to the next chapter!

These are excellent one shots. I enjoyed them all, but I believe the first one was my favourite. I look forward to seeing more of them. I enjoyed the twists used from the TOS episodes and the inclusion of Gaila, explaining how an Orion got into Starfleet. Thank you for such well constructed conclusions woven into the stories.

Well, I've been trying to think of something constructive to say but for the moment I'm still too delighted with everything you've written.

I've just read all five chapters of this story, and I love it! Not much has been written about the Vulcans who survived the destruction of their planet and how they go about setting up a colony on the new planet and preserving their culture. These stories are extremely well-written and very touching. I particularly like "Legacy" where the young botanist travels to Vulcan II as a volunteer and brings with her the rose Amanda Grayson had developed. Beautiful.

I also like the way you tie in elements from the original series like the Horta into this new universe. Well done! Hope to read more chapters in the future.

Thank you for writing this. I have been looking for stories about the surviving vulcans and the people associated with them; this 'hit the spot.' I hope you continue.

You almost made me cry!

I love this story, the focus being on the New Vulcan and the small interactions that the movie could not focus on. Its wonderfully well written. I can empathize with the characters, even thought they are not the main characters you usually see in Fanfiction.

All I can say is wow! What a great story and loved how you tied in the old series with the new movie. Your story has a lot of depth and feeling to it-just love it. Hope to see more updates-these little vignettes with a different character could go on for a long time (and happily so-yea!).
