I would really like to know what they do with the ones kept alive, I could imagine what they do to the woman. Edward has said you don't want to be caught alive and made it sound really bad but never said what he knew.

I'm surprised rosalie didn't remember or mention that Edward was the mountain man Bella had described in an earlier chapter. Tyler was definitely an ass. I would have liked to hear more of his plan to make more sense of what he was doing. He threatened to cut Bella and then hugged her and walked into a camp with more people than he could take out. It did not make any sense.
I'm also surprised that Jake didn't have a fit when Edward bit Bella.

Not believing them is ridiculous. They should have said someone was hurt. What about Alice and her group? They just don't come back and that's it? Someone wants Bella alive.
