I really like this story; however, I don't see Ziva giving up that easily. Yes, there is a point when all people break, but it would take her a lot longer:)

I can't tell you how much this story comforted me between seasons the year Ziva was lost in Somalia. A while ago, all my favorites were mysteriously deleted and I unfortunately forgot about this for a while. I found it again, though! This was so intricately written, everything was believeable and your characterizations were perfectly executed. Abby was silently fuming, Tony was drinking himself to death... You also took the time to explain the course of events leading to her rescue, which many fics from this period failed to do. I love the song too, it was a perfect fit.

So I'm new to the NCIS fandom, and I think this is the first fic I made it all the way through dealing with Ziva after Somalia, so good job! Even though I know you wrote it between seasons, and we know what actually happened, this was pretty legit. Small complaint: Ziva doesn't use contractions, and for the most part, you kept up with that, but not always. Major props on getting into Gibbs' head. You have him totally down, especially at the end.

That's a version of how the things should have been in the show. Because being so normal (phsysically as mentally) after 4 months or torture is unbeleivable, even for Ziva.

I just finished reading your story and I think it was wonderful. I love you how everyone helped Ziva and her relationship with Tony was very well written. It was great that you didn't have her just jump back from what she went through. You made the healing process very realistic. Great Job!

Excellent work! For your first NCIS fic you really had the characters down.

I enjoyed seeing a softer side of Tony, and Gibbs protectiveness of Ziva. The case was a very interesting one as well.
