I would absolutely love a third instalment of this amazing series! Severus and Harry need some bonding time :)

I once tried to read this fic a few month after the first part. And I was completely lost.
Now I am reading the two in direct succession and it makes far more sense.
I think it would help if you would drop a few hints about what happened before. A bit like in the HP books: Every single one mentions in the first few chapters 'This is Harry Potter, he looks ..., he is a wizard and his parents were murdered by Voldemort'. It might seem useless especially if you read it for the umpteenth time. But it is helpful when you haven't read a series in a while.

Kudos to you for dealing so mental health issues and solutions. I love the HP series, but I had always wished for school counselors and therapists for all the adults who carried so much baggage. I also enjoy the maturation in Sirius and the healing in the relationship between Severus and the Marauders.

As an adoptive mother, I so loved the magical adoption ritual. I think Sev is a good choice for headmaster, he is better suited to a more challenging position than teaching the younger kids, although I don't think he needs the headache. I have one question for you, I can't figure out the timing of things. How did Harry and Sev complete the horcrux hunt before Harry's birthday? It felt like much more than a month to me, between their time in Romania and the Witherspoons. If you feel like you have time to answer, I am at . Thanks.

I'm sorry that you were experiencing writer's block. As I am reading this fanfic many years later with 63 chapters, I liked Harry's struggle with killing the werewolf. It reminds me of another fanfic Sev quoted the Talmud to Harry. It said that if someone comes to kill you, get up early and kill him first. Harry's act is sad, but justified. I am looking forward to seeing how you answered each of your questions.
