Sookie shouldn’t have been surprised that Alcide took a paternal attitude with her. She set the tone right off the bat by giving him the impression that he had any say in her choice to model for the art class when they’d only shared a first date. Don’t be angry at someone for trying to take away your independence when you give it away in the first place.

Hoping for more promising things in Puerto Rico...

I don’t see why she felt the need to tell Alcide about life modeling. She’s had one date & sex with him, not a committed relationship. It’s not his place to approve or disapprove of anything in her life at this point.

It’s a relief to finally see an actual line drawn between Eric & Sookie in real life. I am not up for reading chapter after chapter of Sookie & Alcide playing house.

Getting rid of Quinn is cancelled out by introducing Alcide. Ack. They’re both Neanderthals & disgusting.

hopestreet maybe your beta but there is a lot of difference between "your" and "you're". iv'e found this several times and it's slightly off putting as it brings you up short and interferes with the flow of the story. sorry to be critical and this is a wonderful story.

I doubt you will read this review since this story was finished years ago but whatever. The story up until this chapter was fantastic! I love how original it is and the concept of finding love through dreams. Very lovely. BUT... part of this chapter is totally useless to the story. If Eric loves Sookie, why would he dream about sex with another girl so soon after meeting Sookie? Sookie was right that he will be back to his old ways when they get there. they haven't even landed yet and he's fantasizing about the next woman. A little disappointing that it's not really true love...
