This was something strange to read. I gave up at ch 3. It was then when I read that this is comedy (kind of).

A shame this got abandoned. It was getting interesting...

I enjoy Daniel's sense of humor as well as all of the events that are hinted at. The way he thinks is exiting and keeps giving hints to things that have happened.

Awe! Poor Harry! Can't wait for more! Especially as Sirius and Remus start taking (or trying to anyway) a role in his life.

This is incredibly difficult to read. It might just be your writing style, but there’s just way too much internal introspection / monologing going on.

I noticed what you did with the bureau of utilitarian magic sector. It spells BUMS.

I usually hate stories where main characters names are changed, but your choice of names made it easier. At least it wasn't Harrison or god forbid Hadrian. Thank you for that. That said, the story, as much as you shared with us so far, was very enjoyable. It was a bit shocking, given that it's hard to imagine his friends needing to force him to head to the past, but I'm taking it as a "surprise" birthday party... thing that got out of hand. I also enjoyed our introduction to Harry Potter and I'm hoping that Daniel gets a bit more centered, because living life that confusing all the time would be very challenging for anyone. That said, thumbs up. I very much liked your extrapolation that there has to be more to a wizarding city than school supplies. :)

so sad to see this was abandoned. the fic held such promise and was so different from what you usually read on here. thanks for the entertainment, however short, and i hope you are still writing something out there! you clearly have a lot of talent
