Oh, this is great. I really find myself feeling what Light feels here, I can't believe it doesn't have more reviews. You display the deterioration of Light's mental state over time wonderfully, and I loved the part with the spider. That simple, creative addition just shows how awful the confinement is.

Oh... excellent. The words you choose are just perfect in describing Light's despair, and the unrelenting cruelty of his surveillance. The imagery was perfect - the way you described his hands falling off, and the part with the spider really set the dark tone. Very good!
