Aw. This is sweet. I like how Dean stays so tough throughout the whole thing and at the end he totally admits to Sam that he's scared and he needs his brother. And Sam gets it. I love their friendship here. They truly have each other's back. And poor Dean. Getting that wound flushed out cannot be pleasant.

Loved this, and the reference to how the boys can often communicate without words: "Dean makes a jerky motion with his head that he hopes Sam can interpret as “That really sucked but I’m okay and we shall never speak of this again but don’t let go yet because I’ll end up with my face in the mud.”"

This was my favorite line: "Now you’re afraid of a rogue Cheetos bag?" It cracked me up!

Great description of how the wound felt to Dean. Loved all the little details where he found comfort through Sam being at his back or holding onto him. Loved the end, how Sam rushed through his shower to get back to Dean. I love when Sammy takes care of his big brother for a change.
