This should have been a narutoxhinataxhuku story. All that built up for nothing. While the story is really good your execution kinda sucks. I suggest a small rewrite.

PRANKING him is IDIOTIC... Either MAIM HIM OR KILL HIM, that's all that matters. It's all that EVER matters... Although killing him might be a a problem, because then you have to kill the hyuuga elders, and council, and then you gotta kill those that would want to avenge them... So yeah maybe not KILL... why not stop it ALL, just having hinata repeat what I said before?.. Kinda clips ALL this in the bud doesn't it?.. I've always found that if one has a problem?... KILL IT. It tends to get the message across to others... and leaves NOBODY IN YOUR WAKE TO TAKE REVENGE... Cuz everyone IS DEAD! EVERYONE ELSE IS SCARED OUTTA THEIR MINDS KNOWING THEY WILL BE DEAD!... See how that works? it's not EXACTLY respect, but it's pretty close... Kinda like money can't buy love, but it buys a good facsimile, FEAR WORKS when respect can't be gotten.

Lets face it, even in cannon naruto jumps from gennin to kage.. He's NOT going to have the respect of the older generation.. that's just a given.. SO WHY TRY? Make them FEAR HIM... TRUE UNRELENTING, unstoppable TERROR... He COULD do it, if he were so inclined... Hell on most of the population it would take barely a nudge... He's strong enough to go on a "slaughter spree" so by letting these pathetic villagers LIVE he is already restraining himself. and the old man KNOWS THIS.. Also why would hinata CARE about a little maiming, torturing or castration? Hasn't Hiashi TORTURED her for years?... "Do unto others as they have done unto you". The "good girl" thing gets very old, very quick. As long as no LONG TERM physical damage is done? Then SO WHAT? Hiashi LEARNS HIS PLACE (something a LOT of konoha people need to do) and life goes on. Or as my GRANDFATHER used to say.. "SO SHALL YOU SOW, SO SHALL YOU REAP!".. Meaning whatever things you've done, you BETTER be prepared for the consequences! I grew up hearing it, and am a FIRM believer in it. (of course by that logic.. naruto is a TIME-BOMB and konoha can hear the TICK-TICK-TICK)

IMO Sasuke should have NEVER survived the massacre... Yeah Itachi might have spared him, but afterward there WOULD have been a complication at the hospital, something FATAL... NEVER give even a RUNT a purpose, never give it a CAUSE to rally behind, it's just too dangerous. (of course I'd have had an entire platoon of anbu and root to take out itachi after the deed was done also.. information isn't as valuable coming from a man that just left/destroyed everything he loved.. best get RID of him)(and harvest his eyes) Then he becomes a symbol.. A legend. Nobody fights him (because he's dead), but everyone KNOWS he's out there.

I don't actually BELIEVE anything said here, because THINK ABOUT IT.. You took things too far.. The FOX WOULD HAVE reared it's ugly head, and naruto WOULD HAVE LET IT... So instead of getting taken in by kyo we would be having a "demon naruto" story. Not that, that is a bad thing, I've read a lot of really good "demon naruto" stories, BUT that's not what your shooting for here.. Keep the abuse in CONTEXT.

Actually doesn't this PROVE HOW STUPID the 3rd was?.. I mean the SECOND IWA sees him, they KNOW who he is... So it begs the question exactly WHOM was the 3rd keeping this info from? If ALL their enemies KNOW whom he is the second they lay eyes on him, then isn't it making more enemies for him that he has NO IDEA to defend himself against? Or the village knows why?.. add in Orochimaru, the akutski and all the villagers that hate him for the kyuubi (which he isn't supposed to know of, and thus have NO DEFENSE against).. then that whole "hiding a person" kinda is BLOWN OUTTA THE WATER! His REASONING makes NO SENSE. Yeah naruto MIGHT have grown up spoiled and basically what's hated about sasuke, but the alternative is him growing up in ignorance with MOST OF THE PLANET hunting his head and him not knowing it!(which is just stupid)..

Considering she's the heriess, (even if weak in their eyes).. they'd have to keep appearances, they'd turn that boy into a CORPSE... and CRIPPLE his family... without a second though ROFL..
