I loved this story so much. I'm so glad I found it. I haven't read fanfiction in a while, but decided to leap back in and see what I could find!

i love this story so much. i love that roseanna wasn't some perfect little woman high-tailing it to the front lines to save lines. she was a woman with a career, however, and was full of bravery and determination. i felt like she was more realistic than have the OC characters out there and that is so refreshing to read, believe me.

these kinds of war stories are my favorite. it was an absolutely joy to read it! you did a wonderful job writing her character and also nailing down Winters. he's tricky to write but you did so beautifully. absolutely loved it!

To be honest, I think I've read this two or three times and it NEVER gets old. I love it to pieces and it's so well written; it's beautiful. The detail, the characterization, the plot, it's all so good! I hope you write another BoB story :) Thanks for sharing this!

Well I finished the story, so time for that conglomerated review!

I liked the way you wrote the characters, especially Sink, and William (not Wild Bill, but her dad). They were an amazing supporting cast. Dick was adorable, and frustrating, but amazing! Overall, I loved the story, it was very well written. I'm peeved that Lola got away with directing Roseanna to the wrong truck, although I suppose all the bad things which you've alluded to in the epilogue chapters should make up for it. However, they just make me kind of sad, so...I don't know. I loved the visit to Bill, his mom, and Frannie, it was too funny. I was disappointed Joe Toye never wrote to her, since they were getting along well before the leg incident, and then we just didn't hear from him anymore.

I hope you get around to writing some more one shots, I loved this story and I would enjoy reading some more about Roseanna and Dick. It would be nice to include an Easy company reunion, too!

I'm sorry to hear about your rotten luck in the love department, the first big break up is always the hardest. Since it's been a couple of years, I can only hope that you're doing better. Sometimes, when we're not feeling like ourselves, it helps to do something we normally do, even if it's hard. It gets us back on track, and allows us to realize that the word doesn't stop turning because of a certain tragedy or sadness. So even if you don't post anything else, I hope you try to write, even for yourself, and maybe by acting normal, you'll start to feel more normal (if you don't already, in which case, ignore me).

We'll, I'll stop giving you unsolicited advice, and finish by saying I think you're a very talented writer and I'll probably go look through some of your other work when I get a free moment (I've been putting off some work to finish reading this, terrible, I know)!

Well, I didn't read your AN at the beginning of the chapter (shame on me, I know) so when I read the thing about the bat I started yelling (in my head, of course, I AM a dignified lady) OMG THE BEAR JEW STRIKES AGAIN! (No pun intended). Then I rushed back up to the top of the page to make sure that's what you were referencing. I loved it, it was too cute! And very morbid to think of the boys playing baseball with the bat used to bust Nazi skulls.

Gah, Dick is so cute. Totally adorable. And I like that you made Luz obsessed with Lola not Roseanne, it's more interesting that way!

Alright, so I'm breaking a couple of habits by writing this review, and by reading this story. First, I don't usually review finished stories until I've read all the way through them (and only if I really liked them), when I leave one huge conglomerated review at the end. Second, I haven't read many stories heavily featuring the other boys from Easy because I'm more of a Ron fan (is it bad that I find his disregard for his life sexy? Every time I see him jump through that mortar round, and then when he runs through Foy and then comes back, and that monotone, no nonsense voice...but enough about Sparky). I've actually read through pretty much every single Ron story on this site, but my obsession with BoB stories is so far gone now that I'm just reading the ones that sound interesting, regardless of the love interest. Yes, I am getting to the point, thank you for staying with me on this tirade! So, as I've been so long winded-ly been saying, I've read a bunch of stories on this site (even one about Toye, and another about Nix) and they get very repetitive. And they also all star - at one point or another - our favourite Colonel, one Robert "everything-but-the-kitchen" Sink (just laugh at my very lame joke). I've read a lot of depictions of the man, from super strict, to kinda fatherly, but none of them (and I don't say this to take anything away from anyone) NONE OF THEM are as amazing as the brief dialogue in this chapter made him out to be. Now, I don't know how in character that is, considering I don't know the man and we don't see him enough on screen to get a good read of him, but I love the way you wrote him in this chapter. It's the only reason why I am leaving this wordy, way too long review. That's how much I love it.

This is absolutely my favorite Band of Brothers story! I just wanted to let you know. It's so nicely written too.

From the very first moment I started reading your story, I fell in love with it. Your characters are beautifully written, each one springing to life from the computer screen. I have to admit that I've never seen Band of Brothers but I didn't need to the way you wrote the story.

Wow! All I can say is that I absolutely love this story! The characterization of everyone, from Roseanna to all the Easy Company guys was spectacular and the story was just the right amount of drama, humor, romance, and everything in between! Honestly one of the best stories I've read in not only the Band of Brothers section but fanfiction in general!
