Reading this was a journey. And a blessing. I loved every minute of it.

I can't get over how well you write Inuyasha's insecurities. You never forget that he's hated and how irrationally people are blinded by prejudice to the fact that he's a hanyou. And even more so. I am in awe and in love at how wonderfully healing Kagome is here. She's just so...Kagome! She's homesick but she's with the man she loves.

I think I have a thing for Kagome being all rightious and angery, more then Inuyasha at what these people do to him. How they treat him. Oh I could read 100 plus variations of that topic alone and never grow bored.

I don't know if you'll ever actually read this review but I hope somehow my thoughts reach you. You are so talented I hope you never stop writing, even if it's not Inuyasha.

I absolutely loved this. The way you wrote about the kindness of the village headman, and how he remembered how Inuyasha had saved him as child; why he wanted to stand with Inuyasha on the day made me cry. This was so beautifully written I am so glad you decided to share it despite the manga's ending. I know it was written six years ago, but I was surely glad to stumble across it (I always check out what my favorite authors are reading; after I finish whatever they've written, and I am never disappointed and always find something wonderful.)

This was very good. It has the warmth of 'happily ever after’ but with the vandalism of their hut, there is that darker side. Although it is a completed oneshot, like so many of your other stories, it is but a ‘moment’ in the lives of the couple. There will be good days, great days, and some bad days through the years. In the first year, at least, there will be incidents. I would love to know who did the deed; did they work alone; were they contrite; did they garner censure from the headman, if so, what; was the perpetrator’s family, if they had one (wife, children, parents) affected.

You’ve written so many wonderful shorts in this series it’s hard to keep them straight, but this one is particularly memorable.

This was a nice little story. I was again reading the end of the manga and, left unsatisfied by the way it ended, I was looking for some good Inu/Kag fan fiction. This fit the bill nicely. I enjoyed the slower of the story and was overall very satisfied with the plot.

One of the more interesting takes I've seen on what happens 'after the well is closed forever' theme. I love how you composed everything into one extreemly long oneshot. Many can't do this nowadays.
