Sorry for nitpicking but the Black Organization does not let stop when trying to kill people unless they confirm their dead body. This has been a point in many cases where Conan was able to prevent a first attempt only for the target to die later.

Conan and Ai got off because they were fed the poison which explicitly leaves no bodies.

Personally, I think Conan's the better detective because the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mostly depend on the perpetrator making mistakes while trying to assassinate them in overly dramatic fashion.

Well, Ran can also be on Nancy Drew's place too...

Well, you could have been a bit more creative with the traps Kaito Kid sets up for the police and detectives, and Conan usually has some way of chasing after Kid when he foes to heists. I was also expecting a bit more of a clash between Hakuba and Hattori but they just sort of seemed to ignore each other. And the Hardy Brothers seem to have disappeared during the heist, along with Hakuba, and Hattori. Especially once they reached the roof, though I suppose there isn't much they could have done from a distance. Now that I think about it, what does Hakuba do? Other than be really smart, dress up like Sherlock Holmes, and name his pet hawk Watson? And ask the criminals he catches why they committed the crime when he has them in handcuffs? Ima go look that up.

Poor Hakuba. A happy Kuroba is never good for Hakuba. I have always loved how the Tanteis are differentiated from each other by the han, kun, and san. They just suit each detective so well, plus the mocking note for Conan. Kudo Shinichi, a.k.a. Edogawa Conan, Cool Kid, Tantei-kun, Silver Bullet, Creepy Conan/Conan the Creepy Alien.
Oh, you should read About Edogawa by Ellen Brand if you haven't already, not much plot but pretty funny, along with It's Raining Men, Hallelujah by Asuka Kureru. Sorry, was reminded of About Edogawa when I typed his name above then I remembered It's Raining Men, Hallelujah because they are both really funny Detective Conan oneshots.

Super excited now, I love Kaito Kid, that your including him in this story makes it that much more amazing. It's more awesome than if you added a birdflash scene in your HPxYJ series. As much as I love birdflash I love Kaito Kid more, and I love Ran too much not to enjoy RanxShinichi pairings even though my OTP is KaitoxShinichi. Ran and Shinichi are adorable together but they'd never get past the chaste kissing stage because one or both of them would pass out from blushing too much; still, I love them all.
Oh, if you like reading Detective Conan crossovers and you like Danny Phantom you should read The Impossible Murder by Billie Jukes, it's pretty amazing. Still waiting for the sequel to update though. It's been ere years now. The pairings are mostly canon so you don't have to worry about KaitoxShinichi. Although if you are a DP fan I'll warn you now that it's a ValeriexDanny not a SamxDanny.
If you just like DC fics then I'd say read The Case of the Hidden Epidemic by Mirror and Image. Also a RanxShinishi fic, well more like RanxConan but they don't do anything it's more of just Ran finding out and supporting Conan when he needs it. Another good one that doesn't really have any pairings is Heavy Silences by blinkblink. It has a lot more Kaito Kid than the others plus a lot of the Kaito Kid Task Force but it's still pretty serious and really good.
Anyways, I'm totally off topic and I'm just gonna stop here before I list every DC fic I love and that would probably also include the DC hero fics, plus crossovers and my favorite from the stories that are part of the crossovers. It would never end.

Conan has now been dubbed Creepy Conan. Although I have to wonder why they don't find the rest of the Shounen Tantei creepy too, I mean they've seen their fair share of murders and Mitsuhiko and Genta at the very least would be trying to solve the case to try and upstage Conan.

The sneeze gag is pretty funny, but my favorite is from Inuyasha. There's a scene where they're talking about Sesshomaru and the scene cuts to Sesshomaru, Jaken and Rin. Instead of Sesshomaru sneezing in response to being talked about, Jaken sneezes for him. Sesshomaru is just too dignified for an act like sneezing. Too bad I can't remember what episode it was from.

Whoops totally sent that last post prematurely. Cool, wonder how many languages they know. Okay, Hattori pretending to be Shinichi doesn't even count, he sucks at it so badly it's hilarious. Kaito Kid doesn't count either because he can disguise himself as anyone, including Ran. That creep who got plastic surgery to look like Shinichi so he could frame him for murder is just a sad sad person who will forever more look like Shinichi, and I'm waiting for him to be killed off by the Alcohol Brigade for looking like that guy they thought they killed who found out about their existence and is suspected of helping a traitor. Man the Shounen Tantei cant keep our of trouble even without Conan there. I think being a body magnet is contagious. Yes, oh great sleeping detective, bring your daughters new friends that you've never met before to a murder investigation

Haha, I called it! Wait a minute, Ran and Kogoro aren't part of the Kudo family! Dude, no, bad line of thought, bad line of thought. Kogoro may be a glory hound and the timings may suspicious but he's harmless unless you try to hurt his family and Shinichi would never do that intentionally.

Undercover operations are always interesting, but who are they undercover from? Wonder if they know Japanese, guess I'll find out next chapter. I'm guessing Aunt Trudy doesn't know about ATAC. I'm kinda surprised Ran is so fluent in English, but I guess with an FBI agent for an English teacher That you see even outside of class you'd probably be pretty good and the fact that even Mitsuhiko knows English. Man that would be cool having an FBI agent for a teacher, but you wouldn't know if they were an FBI agent so it wouldn't be cool, until something happened that let you know they were an FBI agent. Ima stop now.

Hiya, I'm a fan from your HPxYJ fics, hugebirdflashfan. I can honestly say I've never read a Hardy Boys book in my life, I know nothing about them except that they're detective stories. But I have a bit of experience reading fanfics and picking up facts about the series just from a lot of fanfic reading. Not really something to brag about, or that I'm in anyway proud if but I like fanfics and my sister enjoyed reading fics to me even though she knew I never paid any attention whatsoever to the game/manga/etc. and it just kinda became a habit to read fanfics that interested me whether I knew the fandom or not.
At first I was kinda wary about reading your other fics because I didn't really know the fandoms but then I remembered that I do that anyways just not usually with crossovers, so here I am. Hope you don't mind.
You are my favorite fanfic author and I figured since I didn't know when the next installment of your HPxYJ fic was coming I would just try reading your other fics too. If it's too confusing for me, I'll go start the series and then come back to enjoy. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.
Oh Shinichi, Haibara, you guys should know by now never to doubt your sixth sense. At least you should never doubt Shinichi's sixth sense. Lol, Sonoko Deduction Queen, Conan was right when he said he'd created monsters. Honestly, how so many people pass out and wake up being congratulated about solving some mystery or another without remembering a thing about the case and not question it, just accept it and the praise and move on, is astounding. I think Hattori's the only one who was suspicious of it and he doesn't really count cause he was pretty much setting up a trap for Conan anyways.
