The phrase "One step forward, two steps back" keeps running through my mind. Yin gained her mom, but lost Yang and a possible relationship with Yuck. Poor child. Sequel would be awesome. Enjoy your vacation.

Wow, this went deep... The last chapter...? Can't you just make one more chapter and have the story end there? With a happy ending? Why not have Yuck use the Chronologicum to reverse time and bring Yang back, or since Yuck is a higher level Woo Foo, why can't he learn some sort of revive spell? I'm just tossing out ideas here. :D A very deep and heart tugging chapter. Very good job.
