Well, this was a pleasant surprise! Quite a nice little hidden gem. I only skimmed the author's notes, but you should definitely plan on continuing this story, if you weren't already. I enjoyed it a lot.

This is so sweet. I love that Michael wouldn't just let the subject of Brennan drop- he needed Booth to verbalize what he felt and I think Booth needed it too.

Oh my, you can be new to Bones, but this was fabulous. I love the concept, the idea, the way you kept Booth pretty in character and I am really looking forward to reading about Brennan's sacrifice and then them dealing with all that fallout.

Hearing Booth voice his thoughts on Brennan is always positively cute - and no disappointment here! Michael's attitute towards it was perfect - it balanced the fluffiness with a touch of realism and humour. The sacrifice is simple and yet so perfectly portrays their relationship. It will be fun to read what happens when Brennan discovers the truth :)

Oh I really enjoyed reading this - I loved Booth's descriptions of Brennan, and I adore the fact that he is certain about not taking the position for her. Talk about head over heels, right? Look forward to more :)

I think you've got Booth's voice down, especially when he's describing Bones, although I always pictured those as internal monologues rather than things he would say out loud. However, your justification- that the guy he's talking to knows him inside out and is safe to discuss romantic attachments with-makes sense. I'm looking forward to reading your version of Bones' "voice" soon. Good luck!
