I have commented on this story twice over the years. Twice when I was 17, I believe. I'm 27 now, so, it's been awhile.

I talked about my sister then, my comment filled with a lot of errors and misspellings. It was 100% true; I had an older sister fighting stage 3 skin cancer, her name was Shannon and she left behind a little boy who turns 11 next month. I actually came back to this story a few months after I lost my sister over a decade ago. The way you wrote this story, how you portrayed Bella and Edward's relationship... I wish my sister had been treated like that with her then-partner.

This story actually helped me cope a bit with the loss of my sister. Minus the sex, obviously. Just reading the dynamic and feeling Bella's grief when she lost Edward after his long battle, it helped ease mine. So I would like to thank you for writing this story. So... Thank you.

I have an aching heart from this story. HEA doesn't mean many years but great years.

I remember contributing to Alex's Lemonade a long time ago. this ending made me smile. Thanks for the alternate happy ending version. At least in "fiction" we can have that all we want. Sad life doesn't allow re-writes or alternate endings re some things.
