Hybrid-Cookie376 chapter 1 . 7/6/2014
This was great. An interesting character study of Cassie. I love the structure of it, seeing her at different ages
emeraldarrows chapter 1 . 5/20/2014
This is lovely!
hallowgirlfrommars chapter 1 . 2/8/2014
This is going straight on my favourites list. Great story, loved Cassie's point of view. She was always my favourite character. :)
TheCurat0r chapter 1 . 11/13/2011
Good one-shot. The ending would've been better if you had expanded on 'happiness' like you did for all of the other feelings... But I still really enjoyed the rest. )
Supabeanz chapter 1 . 8/14/2010
Sigh, your writing is soo amazing i feel so inferior to you but i guess that's a good thing because you have inspired me to start writing again and i just kinda wanted to thank you for that and for having such an amazing talent XD
Chasseuse chapter 1 . 9/25/2009
I WANT TO READ MORE.

Mostly because it amusingly has two names that are very significant to me as a prospective couple and has nothing to do with the other two with the same names... If you don't get it, I'll elaborate in a mail. But AWESOME.

I love it.
kehkaa chapter 1 . 8/11/2009

And you ended it very well!
NeverMagpie chapter 1 . 8/6/2009
I thought this was very well written, and I don't think the ending was week. :)
marinawings chapter 1 . 8/1/2009
i really like this story! i love the emotion of it, the way it progresses, the romance, the style... just about all of it. you did a great job of conveying cassie's passage through time and the fulfillment of her dreams. beautiful!
1927 chapter 1 . 7/30/2009
Paige,

I just saw this movie today (and I have to admit, one of the only reasons why I even thought of it was because I saw you wrote a Push fic and said the movie was pretty good :P). And because I love Chris Evans too. Plus, I forgot to tell you this, but you kind of remind me of Dakota! I was thinking it throughout your video. :P

But anyways - I think this was fantastic, and I really do think it's a really strong piece of writing. One of your best (although you know I'm partial to Fake :D), certainly. I think you did such a good job with all of the coming-of-age and growing up, especially because Cassie's childhood is far from normal. I think her mother being taken away is one of the scenes I loved most in this story, just because it sort of filled in questions I had about the movie too. I do agree that the ending wasn't the strongest part, but I think it was fantastic that way - it wasn't entirely conclusive in terms of how Cassie and Nick end up exactly, but we know that he comes back and that she's happy. I like that, how it's sort of left hanging, and yet we can trust she's safe and sound. :)

"Maybe he’s finally realized that she meant she loved him. He doesn’t mention it though, and neither does he. It’s best that they don’t bring it up. Cassie will probably deny it and he’ll probably be rational and say it can’t happen because there’s ten years between them (and he doesn’t love her back)."

And I really liked that, because it makes complete sense in terms of their relationship. But even onscreen you can't deny that Nick and Cassie seemed to have something, in a way that might have been brother-sisterly at the time but could definitely turn into something new. And I loved this. Great job, Paige! :)

limetta chapter 1 . 7/29/2009
This was awesome! I loved it! I love Cassie/Nick.

I hated Kira so much in the movie.

and it has NOTHING to do with Camilla, of course. ;D

but yea. loved it! i'm looking forward to reading more of your work!
pyrolyn-776 chapter 1 . 7/29/2009
Oh, Paige. :)

Maybe it's because Push is different, or maybe it's that I am in love with Chris Evans, I'm not sure, but reading Push fics has become somewhat of a weakness for me. It pulls me in stronger than Disney fics. (Isn't that horrible of me? I write Disney, but I can hardly bring myself to go and read it. Sigh.)

Anyhow, I think this was absolutely amazing. You remember my Push fic, right? Well, jeez. You pretty much just blew mine right out of the water. And I'm not just saying that! This was a great Cassie fic. Of course, I reallyreallyreally would have loved to see some form of returned love in Nick, BUT it was still awesome without that kind of scene. :)

I will admit that the ending was not as strong as everything else above it, but that hardly matters because this whole thing was powerful to outshine that. This was fabulous, and all of the moments in time for Cassie were brilliant. My favorite was probably Age 13, though. I loved it when she met Nick. :)

Oh, I'm sure I'm bothering you with this review now. Heh. I'll have you know that I loved this so much that I'm going to have to favorite it. I simply thought it was mad brilliant. (How many times can I say that before it gets annoying? Twice? Three times?)

This was mad brilliant. This was mad brilliant. This was mad brilliant.

Ha! _

You're awesome, Paige. If ever you decide to write more for Push, don't forget to tell me! :D

Maria17b chapter 1 . 7/26/2009
I'm so glad you wrote this, I love Push but there's almost no fanfiction and sadly I don't think there will be a sequel. Write more D
Sparrowlight chapter 1 . 7/26/2009
wow. that was really amazing. i love the last line especially (how can you say thats not strong?)!
of self chapter 1 . 7/26/2009
I haven't seen the movie but this was so well written. Like detailing how she feels at every age. It flowed very well because of the pattern it used. And the last line was fitting. Nothing big but simple and concise. Excellent job. :)
