This is amazing. I love the detail and the relationships and how well you get Al to tell Ed's story. It's memorable and well done without being overstated.

I loved it. I'm generally not a fan of fiction that uses Lyrics but this was beautiful. You've successfully infused this piece with a soft melancholic nostalgia which compliments Al’s realistic characterization.

The way Edward dies is so... so... Edward; completely in character, completely against the odds. It was also good how you put in Edward's weakness; the loneliness, the guilt, it just makes a really well fleshed out profile.

I also liked the subtle hint that there may have been a relationship between Roy and Edward; maybe not romantic, but there nevertheless

Altogether, this piece hangs together wonderfully; one of those rare pieces where I just feel the need to sit back and meditate on a story well done.
