Ocarina Link messed up everything when he faced Wind Link.

The young boy first real fight was against someone Link had already deemed as "someone like Orca", and he almost injured that person. Had his first duel be a regular monster, he wouldn't wield the sword with fear.

Good work Ocarina Link, you had one job and failed it.

Wind Link is obsessed with his sister, Ocarina Link with Hyrule and Twilight Link with fate. Interesting.

Talking about fate makes me think, if Twilight Link is indeed a complete reincarnation of Time Link, perhaps before the flooding in Wind Waker the hero was reborn too, but because he was alone in his adventure without a Mina or a Navi, the hero gave up like Twilight is eager to do.

It kind of makes sense.

Oz was possessed, or was he doing the possession, so for a sec I believed kid Link was surely being possessed by the hero's spirit. My new theory is that Link has prophetic dreams and he is in fact haunted by his future self. Like in SNK.

Poor Time Link, everything he fought for is gone. He sacrificed his childhood to protect an Hyrule that's gone. What will he do now? What would he do if he got an idea of using the triforce to return Hyrule to life? Would he even be able to become an antagonist to kid Link? So many questions and not enough answers.

Wind Link, he just wants to be free to explore the world, doesn't he? But his duties call and he has a duty as a big brother and a outser citizen, so what will he do? And he knows about Ganondorf too, but I don't believe he's the reincarnation of the other Link, so I will chalk it to triforce magic thing.

Mina is so funny, and Navi lovely. They made for an unlike duo but their conversations are the most interesting, because they don't know enough and somehow manage to deal with two Links without going crazy. The ladies have stolen my heart already in this chapter.

Btw, I really like the way chapters are named and how it adjust perfectly for every character. Link being childish on his adventure and getting troubled by the idea of growing, and at the same time, the the Links and companions act quite immature in all their dialogues.

I had assumed that twilight Link was the grandson of Time Link, but now I wonder if I was mistaken. The memories and the way Time Link perceives them is making me think that both are the same person, not even a reincarnation, more like Time Link got back to being a baby and is living a new life.

That said, poor Time Link, knowing what will happen to him in this fic make him more pitiable than the first time around.

I say I'm too old to care. After reading this fic two times, I have decided to read it one more time and leave a review in each chapter.

The title of the chapter, "chained" already tells us the theme of the fic and we get a view of the life of three different Links: one already on fate's hand, other who is lost after finishing his quest and one before even knowing there's a journey in his future. All of them with different personalities and motivations. A really strong start that prepares the ground for their meeting.

I am not a fan of this modern twist happening, or how it messes with the flow of the story tbh. It feels like it detracts from the stories focus.

I know it's been years since you last updated, but I sincerely hope you continue this story. I love the idea so much (Link meeting Link stories are always fun) and I really wanted to know about Sati and who she works for. But thank you for 39 chapters though, that must've taken a lot of effort.

Eh, I know that you said Sati isn't an author avatar, she seems like one. I usually don't have any problem with OCs, but I can't stand ones that are like gods in the story. It's only been one chapter so I can't determine if this is what Sati is, but so far, she's frightened Midna (Midna! The tough, sassy, princess!), appeared out of nowhere, and seems to know everything. Not to mention she had a fangirl-ish reaction to meeting Zelda characters. That's another type of OC I don't much care for- ones that come from our world. I hope what you said is correct and she won't steal anyone's spotlight- I was loving the story so far!
