This is hilarious. I especially loved it when you said about Shadow managing to give her that stare from underwater.

Another beautiful, hilarious, albeit with a depressing ending, story. I’ve already fangirled enough in your reviews so I won’t again, but just know on the inside I’m killing Shadow with the amount of hugs I’m giving him.

I do find it hilarious that Shadow can’t really swim. I know hedgehogs actually CAN swim and sega just didn’t fact check when making their game XD but at least he can lord the doggy paddle over sonic XD although I would think that seeing as swimming is sorta like floating that Shadow would actually be more accustomed to it vs the walking/running he had so many problems with. But I loved the story regardless. Another priceless Maria/shadow sibling moment that should be treasured forever _

These are the kind of stories that make me want to curl up on my bed and snuggle my shadow plushie deep within my covers. And then cry as the ending foreshadows an ironic twist of fate. WHY?

Haha, this was awesome! Still, the line near the end "And don't believe I'll rescue you ever again if it's anything else but someone pointing a gun at your chest!" made me so sad... Shadow didn't manage to rescue her the second time :(
