See, now, I can absolutely see how this fantastic one-shot could EASILY be expanded with Ch 2 being Hermione and Severus' conversation, flirting (no sex yet), and planning about her job, then Ch 3 could be the next day with more flirting (still no sex - Hermione's not a ho'bag) while they're beginning to implement their plan (I mean, SOMEBODY needs to take the ENTIRE Ministry in hand, right? Why not Hermione and Severus, and of course Lucius and Draco, too - Gryffindors are great at charging into action but Slytherins are best at plotting, planning, and Getting Things Done...) - you see how this is going, right? It would take some time for HG/SS along with LM and DM to plan out how they're going to Take Down The Ministry, but they could soooo do it.
