Love the story hate the epilogue. I like Fiyero and Elphaba generally but this story in particular really made me dislike Fiyero, and to have them end up together after the credits, after I was happy it ended well... But otherwise still a good story. I am going to just pretend the epilogue never happened.

I loved their relationship so much! For a Fiyeraba Shipper, I never expected to applaud for Elpharic. Now all I want to read is sweet fictions about Avaric and Elphaba. It's frustrating! And I was melting every time he called her El. I absolutely loved this! Brava!

You know...I am actually a little heartbroken they didn't make it. I was rooting for them. Me. Rooting for Elpharic. Well done. Very well done.

Elpharic is not for the faint of heart. In your stories, they are more real than Fiyeraba is in most of the stories in this section. It's unbelievable. Very realistic.

I think it was absolutely the right choice. Honestly, though, only a few chapters in I knew she would end up (till the epilogue) with Avaric. It just made much more sense and though I am a Fiyeraba shipper at heart, it depends on the story, doesn't it. This is not for Fiyero. He does not deserve her in this story. No matter how much we may ship Fiyeraba. Avaric's the better man, the better lover and the absolutely the most honest man for Elphie. Without a doubt. They deserve each other :)

So I, from now, on, have a soft spot for Elpharic.

Wow. An amazing story. I truly hope you'll write some more of the M-rated one. These two deserve it. This whole story has been mere foreplay, after all :)

Thanks for one of the best reads ever and for opening my eyes to the fact that Fiyero is not always the one who deserves to win in the end.

I at first thought this story was going to be a Fiyeraba fanfiction. But jeez, you got me in LOVE with the Elpharic pairing. You could not have made the story more convincing, breathtaking, alluring, and wonderful.

Every chapter left me breathless, and every chapter made me love Avaric even more.

I have started to read your M-rated story already, and love it.

I really, really hope you do write another Elpharic fanfiction soon (preferably another Shiz-era one with the same type of love triangle with Elphie, Avaric, and Fiyero? :) )

I really loved this story! I find it hard to find good Elpharic stories and I really loved Avaric in this story. I agree with Elphaba's choice too, much as I like Fiyero I'd rather have someone to support me than protect me. You made the characters likeable and understandable and human and I loved that. It was a really well-written story. thank you for sharing it and I hope you write more Elpharic in the future.

I would have never guessed - and had you warned this would be Avaric/Elphaba, I would have turned away and ran -, but you made this work. Can you believe I almost worried, half way through this, that she would end up with Fiyero? This from a shipper who hates Avaric? :D

You changed Fiyero and Avaric a lot, but that can be forgiven due to plot necessitites. Elphaba, though, you nailed! (no pun intented, ;P). She was sarcastic and strong and still vulnerable at the same time. Perfect rendering of her musical version.
