WOW! What a total different perspective on some key characters. Everything was great from the character development to the plot and the sad ending. My heart did break when Rodimus died. OMGosh, I think I teared up.

You are one of the few FanFic authors, who know how to pull on a gal's heart strings.

That was utterly devastating and I kind of hate you a little bit for so thoroughly absorbing me in the story and then murdering any sense of hope.

There's a lot I loved about this (the shifting points of view, for one, and also your attention to detail), I just can't be coherent about all the positives because you have hit me right where it hurts with that ending.

All I could say is wow! What a story! I sat here for hours on Saturday reading this and I like how you were able to spin this story differently from every Transformer fanfic and storyline out there. It was a sad ending, but you wrote this very well. Lots of character, lots of personality, and a very good plot. If anyone is looking at this review and contemplating reading this story, you better read it! Forget the slash fics! Read this!

wow, this is a total different angle by the way you wrote this story; a bittersweet ending with a death of several characters that still shakens me. well done. it is a shame that not many people review this you are indeed a genius. i hope i get to read more of your stories soon.

Strewth, Tams! I was supposed to be writing the next chapter of my fic, but I've been distracted for an hour and a half reading yours!

I thought I only cried when Optimus died (TFTM, TF2009), but when Magnus was tortured... I got up to start dinner, and found myself going back to the fridge twice to get out the butter. Then staring at the pan on the stove and not knowing what I was cooking. I wasn't crying, but damn, I was rattled. Depressed. That was brutal. But that's what this fic is, a REAL story. No happy smiling ending, and heroes don't get rescued from torture.

At least Optimus got to do his big Prime thing by knifing Trion. Bastard needed a knife in his core, and Optimus was the perfect mech for it.

Then Op and Rodi dying. Being buried. Ouch isn't strong enough to cover it.

Now all this is over, you can't leave it there. No, really. There must be a sort of 'aftermath' thing. What about Arcee? What is she doing now? Will the Con's stay on Earth, and would the humans let them? Will the humans get fed up with all of this and boot all the TF's off the planet? Is Magnus the Full Commander of the Autobots now, or does that title no longer exist because the Matrix is gone? No more sparklings - no more Cybertronians, EVER? What about the femmes, there's more than one way to make new bots.

I'm glad the slag that Trion is gathering around himself is starting to stick! :-) This is really brilliant stuff, Tams. Just brilliant. Wish some other reviewers would pitch in and agree with me! Heart-breaking to have such a well-written and planned fic with not enough admirers. Need more love!

LOL, she really is Trion's daughter... Good onya, Optimus, don't even give her the time of day. Magnus, ditch Princess Pink and take up with Tempra, she seems likie a much nicer femme.

It's sad to see Optimus struggle with every little thing he has to do. I thought he was doing better, but after that visit he had with Blurr, he might be regressing. Wondering what life is all about and the stupid things we have to do every day leads to suicidal thoughts. Bring Rodi back quick! He's the only mech that can keep Optimus on track.

I know I'm being a bad fangirl by trying to break-up a relationship here, BUT - GO FOR IT MAGS! You need a femme who understands the meaning of 'monogomous' (did I spell that right? LOL).

Rodi really takes good care of Optimus, and we wouldn't expect it any other way. He's a good guy, and good guys are there for you even when your world is falling apart. Op has some serious issues there, I hope he recovers.

I must say, you really do well with explaining and weaving your plotlines, something I know I struggle with in my fics. You write much, MUCH better than most fanfiction writers can achieve. I think is a good comparison. Go and read 'Masks' (yes, it is Bayverse but you'll see what I mean when you read it. It's on a level of 'awesome' far above what us lackeys can achieve!).

Very sweet fic too. Had me twitching at Magnus and Arcee having a mouth-to-mouth moment. Always the love... And I concur with Mags putting his (oversized) foot down. Stop messing around and set some rules, man!

Alpha Trion is being a big SOB. Go Optimus! Re-arrange his aft. Can't half tell Magnus is only being nice to him since Arcee is his offspring, but with Mags the way he is, even that is paperthin. Trion is going to end up wearing his aft on a different part of his anatomy.
