What I never understood is why Naruto needs the Kyuubi so much. He has talent of his own, which they never bother to expand. He is called an idiot, but he Master high level ninjutsu in the blink of an eyes. He learn Kage Bunshin in a day and rasengan in a month. Summoning should not take longer than a week because he has more chakra than the hokage at that age. He is not book smart or great at strategy, but he is a tactical genius and has the reflexes of his father. He just need to work on his taijutsu and Speed, add Elemental ninjutsu to his reprotoir, with chakra leveland Kage Bunshin Training, he could add Elemental jutsu of every kind in a year or so. Orochimaru would not dare lay a finger on Naruto because he is Akatsuki target. The plot was good, it really made me curious about the story but as the story goes on, I find it lacking. I don't exactly know what specifically, lacking in substance maybe? or maybe the excitement and the emotions in what is happening is not compelling. I suppose I expected more in the action scenes and the emotionally charged scenes like the fluff.

No offense but I mostly find it lacking when I don't feel anything, usually I feel riveted and I look forward to every chapters but I feel I am just reading it because I want to finish what I started, it feels like a chore ( and it's not because it's long because I read stories longer than that). There are more times where I feel irritated in the reactions of the characters, the character development of Naruto and his friends also ires me. I think your writing style is the issue?

Seriously? Why hasnt naruto told anyone about the Orochimaru? He tried getting help for his dog but kept quiet about a missing nin in the forest. I thought he wasnt stupid, then he goes and does this. Multi times, he doesnt tell his friends, so you know they can avoid him. He doesnt tell Iruka. I like naruto sometimes but most time he is still stupid. I get he is 12 but he has had a hash childhood he would have matured faster. You claim he reads all these books and trains so much but then when it comes down to it. He doesnt share vital information, he needs 2 other teams to save his ass. And again he doesnt tell anyone about the missing nin.

Hi. Was getting desperate, not finding any good stories here on fanfic, read the intro, thought it really crappy, but decided to check out underneath the underneath, and what do you know? This story (at least so far) is great. You really need to do something about the intro, because it says nothing about the story, and my reading it is just a coincidence. Really! Try something like «A world weary elite jounin of the Leaf with the help of his ninken finds a dispirited young jinchuuriki living on his own in an alley, and takes steps to improve the life of his senseis son. Watch how a promising shinobi with the support of a new brother/guardian takes on the world and becomes a legend». That is a story I would love to read, and so far that is the truth of this story:)

I read it and spent a whole week reading this story and I can't tell weather or not I love it or hate it. Dont get me wrong it's brilliant and different in a strange way, but man the chapters are long. Other than that, I loved it.

Hi! I was talking about Naruto fan fiction to a friend of mine and was telling her about this fix and how much I adored it! It got me thinking that I hadn't read it in a while. I've read it completely through 3 times at least, so I pull the story up and start reading and see that you had added a chapter! I was so excited! Are you still working on this at all? I still grin everytime I read the missing moment from where Kakashi accepts the Nii -chan title since I had suggested that to you! Makes me happy, like I was a part of the story. I am still in love with this story now as I was when it first came out. I know it's been a few years, but I hope you've been working on it slowly but surely. :)
