Hate to be nitpicky, but it says in the AN that this is set four years after Omega, and Adelle later says Echo's been composited for three. It's entirely possible that I've counted wrong, just thought I'd point it out.

and it makes sense to me as the time I watched the show it took me a good 10 minutes to wrap my brain around everything.

Fantastic. I have been looking for Epitaph One time line fan fics, as well as stories about how the situation developed, and yours is simply amazing. You really capture the soul of the show, better than the show itself at times. Please write a sequel soon. The shows break from now until December is the perfect time to do so.

I love dollhouse and this story just gives me that little piece more even if it isn't the real storyline.

Adelle being Echo's "mom" is hilarious and the speech echo and herself gave to the remaining people was also great.

Also on the note of Adelle being a "mom" when she was surrounded by her "children", heartwarming and then funny when you read the next log.

I really can't wait for the sequel and will keep an eye out for it.

Well, Victor and Sierra are picking up where they left off, and Dewitt is really turning into a mother. I like it.

there's not much more I can say for this story other than it is phenomenally good. Really, it's well written, the character have just enough spark to show that they're in your story but still be more than recognizable as themselves. Something not to many authors can say about their witting.

Really hope to see more soon. This story is to interesting to just be let hanging.

This story is awesomeness! Just read all the chapters so far and was like... wow. Very descriptive, and you definately get the "Epitaph One" feel from it. The last line in Chapter 3 when Victor composited was just chilling, poor Adelle, but it totally seems in his character, judging by what I've seen in "Needs" and "Epitaph One" - he is harsh like that and I don't think he would have approved of the person who recruited him for the Dollhouse using him for sex and comfort.

Can't wait to see Sierra composited and perhaps some Victor/Sierra...? Great work and please, please update soon!
