Reviews for Pretend to hurt the color of the returning sound
Gakupo Lover chapter 1 . 7/21/2013
So sweet!
Wolfic chapter 1 . 3/8/2010
I love this fic and the way you explored what it means to be a vocaloid, including not only the good parts but also the bad parts.

Especially the bad parts.
Kiki Lefevre chapter 1 . 1/4/2010
This is a very interesting and disturbingly thought-provoking piece. I'm stunned by the thought put into this (and if it was spur-of-the-moment, the absolute detail involved in personifying the Vocaloids) I find that your characterization is quite suited for the Vocaloids. (in my opinion, as they are only computer programs that you program to 'sing'. They can't really have personalities and such)

I am more of a fan of the twins as well, since they sound good in harmony, and if used correctly, good alone. Not to mention they are pretty adorable and I love twins period. The part that may have struck me the most was the part '4. Return'

I just found that even if it was the shortest, the beginning really was well-written. I imagined someone waking up from a dream (trying to get a better perspective of the feelings in something written by thinking of a realistic situation) after something like getting you head cut off and still thinking about the dream. Then I wondered how I would react, and now I'm worried I'm delving too far into a story about a computer program.

Either way, I'm going to say that this is a very interesting piece of writing and that even if I'm only ever really on this site once every couple weeks or every few months, I'm glad I found this story.

Keep writing, and keep up with the ideas. You have talent.
Vives chapter 1 . 12/22/2009
This is awesome. The most interesting take on the Vocaloids I've read yet. I've always wondered about that, too... "deletion" seems to be a recurring theme in a lot of songs...

Amazing. 5 out of 5. 10 out of 10.
Pandaren-storyteller chapter 1 . 11/10/2009
I must agree with your first reviewer on this. Why the lack of reviews... really. Some people just don't seem to take interest in fics like these. In my honest opinion, I must say I love this particular fic. It holds a lot of dark emotions and the details were actually quite fine. I can't say much more about this fic aside from its length and how well written it is.

Please continue to write wonderful fics such as this and know that it's a splendid piece of work )!

Laters dude.
Isumo 1489 chapter 1 . 9/2/2009
Well, I'm always a fan of the twins, though Miku is ok and Kiato is just plain funny most of the time. Still, this fic raises an interesting, if near disturbing thought.

I myself always felt, from the theme of Re_birthday, that those songs could be simply different lives of the same souls born again and again. But this...this both disturbes me yet oddly intrigues me. I own no Vocaliod products myself to experiment with, but I'm starting to wish I did. If only to see what is actually there, and from there, what further can be found on these characters that have so recently captured my imagination. I know alot of character developement is fan-based, but even so with all the interpritations I feel I must see the source material some day.

To live completely in fiction, it's not an unfamiliar concept when it comes to those in the real world. But to be created for that and know nothing else, that's the near horrifying thought isn't it? How could one endure such an existence? What value could they find in themselves or each-other beyond those songs?

Eh, I liked this, and would love to see more. But I also have to say I only know so much about Vocaliod, dispite Wiki's description, and the various videos on YouTube I've watched, or fanfics I've read. Rin and Len are by far my favorites though, so I'd track this question through them before the others.

Once more, great work, and I hope so see more of this, or anything really. This gives me both interesting and different ideas for my fiction.

rimiburt chapter 1 . 9/2/2009
... Oh. My. God.

I seriously have no idea why you don't have any other reviews yet.

This is amazing. Seriously.

I was confused at first, but now I understand.

It's so sad, how they're trapped in the world of their songs and how Len wishes to be human so much...

This great, I love your style. Really.

I would absolutely love to see another chapter of this, maybe in another point of view or a continuation, because I really honestly loved it. But this in itself is great.

Write more, genius! :D
