The ending was adorable! Love that Dean's line of thinking mirrored Sam's. "He was so screwed." Lol.

Super creepy guy, I mean Ed, freakin' deserved his watery fate. Glad that Sammy was able to wriggle out at the last moment. And ended up saving Dean in the end. Having the spirit jump in right after they had just reached shore sucked, but was exciting.

The idea of Dean taking care of Sam at gunpoint made me laugh-mostly because I could almost imagine him *doing* it.

I finally caught up and can now only wonder in disbelief why I waited so long to finish this. But finish it I did - I went back to ch 1 and read it all the way through today.

I may have already said this, but I just adore your sense of humor in this - how Sam knows Dean will make him take medicine at gunpoint, and Dean reminding himself that beating Sam senseless isn't a good idea. However tempting. Loved the confrontation with Sam telling Dean that he wasn't Sam's mom - yikes.

I also really enjoyed how you tied the kids at summer camp in with this, and Sam's revelation about how his arm was broken. Pathos, humor and insanely wonderful sea monsters. And sick Winchesters. A lot of fun, great pacing, snappy dialogue - just great.

Hey it went full circle. I enjoy stories that do that because it makes them more complete. I'm glad Sam got to see the two, uh, "Champs." Cute brother bonding as they feed lake "monsters."
