I loved this, thank you so much. I don’t think you should be embarrassed (although it’s a normal feeling I assure you). You are very creative and it’s hard to find fanfics we’re they get the characters personally right. Once again thank you and well done. You deserve a pat on the back and a hot chocolate!
Guest chapter 1 . 4/19
This story is a brilliant merge of Snow White and Labyrinth. It's beautiful. But I have to say this, or ask, actually. Why did you make the main characters stupid? They're so obstinate that it verges dangerously on stupidity. Sarah is young and traumatised, so I understand her. Jareth is old enough that he should possess the wisdom which should be able to overpower his pride when necessary. But the Labyrinth is the worst. She really should know better. She created a bride for the king, yet she doesn't make sure they spend enough time together to actually get to know one another. Instead, she allows Sarah to make her promise not to do just that. And then she doesn't tell Jareth in any way that she had, in fact, created the perfect bride for him. On top of that, she doesn't try to talk to Sarah about any of this, so the poor girl gets some actual guidance. She does, however, let Sarah hide from the world in a supposedly safe place, where, wonder of wonders, her evil stepmother manages to find her, and not just once. Just why...?

I still love this story. It's such a clever retelling.
Labyrinth Lover3 chapter 6 . 3/26
Every time I read this it fills me with joy. This, as I have said in the past, is the only way that I would ever accept this as made into a movie that I would possibly love more than the original. Since the novelization of the movie has come out, I would argue that this is better than that. Thank you so much for writing the captivating story that effectively combines the story of Labyrinth and Snow White. I love this so much.

I am an immense Labyrinth fan and love all the music and the plot. this has made everything better hundredfold. the lyrics from the movie make more sense in your story than they did just w/ the movie.

QueenOfHearts3 chapter 7 . 1/17/2018
This was thoroughly inventive; well done you. :) You somehow managed to weave together two of my least favorite fairytales with one of my favorite movies in a way that actually felt natural. For that alone, it would be an impressive feat, but you also stayed true to the Labyrinth characters in the midst of this astoundingly detailed alternate universe. Your original characters were also finely crafted, especially Katrinne. It's not often that I loathe a fictional person to the degree that I did with her. The Labyrinth (the fact that you turned it into actual character is brilliant, by the way) finally delivering her comeuppance was delicious. I expected a bit more of a complicated punishment from her, given her attachment to Sarah, but it worked. The passages regarding fey history and culture are also fascinating and give depth to a story already rich with it. The ideas about soulbonding are of particular interest here, as it explains a great deal about the intense, tension-laden and occasionally baffling connection between our beloved pair.

One problem, though. When Sarah swore Irias to silence or Riganne's life was forfeit, it seemed very out of character. Even if she and the woman in question weren't friends, it wouldn't be in Sarah's nature to threaten such a thing. Was that just how the spell worked? And whether it was or not, why was she so desperate to stay hidden that she would go to such lengths? I get why she didn't understand Jareth's motives for pursuing her, having such little experience of love (and absolutely none of that nature), but when he repeatedly came to her aid and even saved her life now and then, one would think she would've realized that he didn't mean her any harm. Sure, the opinions of some of his subjects (namely Hoggle) weren't always glowing recommendations, but... still.

Oh well. It worked out in the end, so I can't complain too much. I think I'll look for more from you
