In love this! Just one of my favorite fixs. You’re so good with their personalities. Their banter is perfect. I love that you have rogue with her stubbornness but yet obvious vulnerability (especially for remy). And I love how your write remy’s smoothness but with his absolute care and love for rogue. Love that he asked if she was okay about the night before. He knows how much these things mean to her despite everything...Please write more!

That's a beautiful chapter.
Once again, a little thing for the French words you're using : you should have written "Ce soir est le nôtre." ... yes, we also sometimes put accents on the top of 'o'... (that's because in the Dark Ages, this word was written like this : "nostre", the 's' disappeared between then and the 18th century but an accent was put on the top of the 'o' instead of the former 's'). That's the same thing for "hôtel" that was formerly "hostel".

JEEEZUZ! This was amazing. I've been surfing the web looking for Remy and Rogue semi-smut with a little bit of romance tossed into the mix, and I loved this! It makes me want to find my own Gambit. ;)

I haven't managed to read all of the Legacy series yet but what I've picked up from sites & Wikipedia makes feel dread for anything beyond the 230's I believe so this makes me happy & hopes our fav couple ends up like this!

Loved it! You truly have a way with words. Your writing made the story so easy to read, yet it was still filled with complex themes and emotions. I like the fact that you made this a "Deleted scene" of sorts in order to provide readers with some insight into how you think things went.

You captured the characters perfectly in my mind. I could totally feel for them, wanting to go back to the way things used to be, but sadly realizing that it's impossible when so much happens. They deserve happiness (don't we all?) and you wonderfully described some moments when they got just that.

Thank you very much for penning such a great story and I can't wait to read your other works.

Great story! There isn't supposed to be an accent on the "o" in "notre" though.

I've been out of the X-Men world for years (fan and comic), only checking Wikipedia and fan fiction once in a while to see what's been going on.

That being said, this story made me want to come back to the Rogue/Remy fan world, and it reminded me why they're my favorite fictional couple ever.
