ah i loved this. i just watched top gun for the first time today and was like, 'HOLY SHIT AFTER THIS MOVIE I HAVE TO GO ON , B/C THERE'S GOTTA BE SOME MAV/ICEMAN SLASH...' because that movie is gayer than two cowboy's on a mountain...holy crap THE HOMOEROTIC SEXUAL TENSION! yeah!

but anyway, so far this is my favorite of what you've written. THANK YOU by the way, you and corporate voyeaur seem to be the one's keeping this fandom alive!

but i loved the length of this story, and Iceman's conflict. its interesting that it stays in his head. i just love internal angst!

Can I be rant-y here? :)

1. The opening lines were just hilarious. Fatal character flaw..

2. And the 'what's a straight again'...'not what you have'. That was funny too

3. Hollywood is so cute... "or maybe not"

4. Gotta love how when Ice says he likes chess, no one dares to say anything more about it..

5. Slider's suggestion of punching is just so darn helpful :)

6. And Wolf! Man, what a cutie. "Can you even do that this early?"

7. The whole similie thing... :)

8. Mav's got great reasoning. "Beacuse I'm.. *Maverick*!" Man, that dude is self-centered..

9. Yes, Ice just may be a teeny bit OCD.

10. I like the tense little conversation between Mav and Ice at the end. Very natural for them.

11. And also, I'm *really* curious as to what's going on between Wolf and Hollywood...

12. And hey, my weird-acting-Ice is all yours :) I liked what ya did with him very much.
