I’m just stuck on the fact that Edward never brok confidentiality the facts given were already known to the prosecution. He connected the dots and I realize it varies by state to an extent but it was never a breach.

I’m also stuck on the fact that Edward absolutely would have had to testify and Aro would have supenoed him and made it look like a witch hunt and vengeance because of what happened to Angela. I don’t see anyway James actually would have been convicted. It was a great plot but not very realistic in terms outboutcome.

Again why are you making Charlie out to be a dumb cop. He could found all this out. Why is Port Angles police department is letting Tanya over see a relatives case. Looks like Bella can sue the Port Angles police department.

First off I love Cynthia your story is good so far. But I think that Charlie being a cop would have tore up the world to find the rapist. I don't understand why you have him doing nothing he is a cop. If it were me I would have been in Port Angles police dept. Throwing a fit till they actually did something.

In the beginning I had such a problem with how James could remain a free man in society but his attorney did his job well in representing the bastard. One can only imagine the absolute grief that Angela lived with in the aftermath of the trial. Edward learned, only too well, the lesson of every action has a reaction. That case sure turned Edward's life around in questioning and loathing this aspect of his profession. Enter Bella, or as I like to think of her, Edwards salvation. Oh how I cried when we learned her story. I loved how Rosalie, Emmett and Carlisle worked with Edward to right the nightmare that James left in his wake ... not only in his past but in the future. Thank you for giving Bella (and Edward) the means to heal to move forward to their future. :)

Would you really have your readers believe that a car dealer would say stupid shit like that? REALLY? They would NEVER try to talk someone OUT of a deal. And alittle odd that the price is $38,700 something and they only offer a 700 dollar discount. They would go a lot less then that (thousands less) and to have Edward actually turn down a discount? What are you a fucking moron? A story should be believable! That whole chapter read like a kid wrote it. Don't worry wisdom will come with age, if your lucky.

What? Um no. I'm pretty sure double jeopardy only applies when someone is actually convicted of the crime or if they are trying to retry the case with the same evidence.

So if they have new evidence they can in fact try to convict him again. But they cant bring him to trial again with the same evidence if hes already been acquitted. And if he was convicted they cant bring him back to court even with new evidence to try to get a longer sentence.

So double jeopardy doesn't apply in this case because Bellas testimony is NEW EVIDENCE, they can try to convict him but it would be harder now even with the new testimony because their star witness is dead.

Edward said that his secretary was a professional...I have read NOTHING that proves that. The way she talks to her boss is wrong. She should be fired. And honestly shes a VERY unneeded character.
