Reviews for Amazon Dot D'oh!
A Sub-Creator chapter 30 . 7/6/2012
This is a really, really, fantastic, well-written story. You were able to blend the elemets of drama and comedy perfectly. I read this one a year or so ago, and I remembered it when I was gathering up interesting fanfics for my community. I tell ya, I'm tempted to read this one again, it was THAT good.

You can count on me checking out your other stories, for sure!

Oh we do, Narfy. *winks*
Narfy chapter 2 . 10/3/2010
Oh you'll let me huh? Didn't know you were part of the chapter police. Actually I didn't even know we had those.
The Simpsons Fan chapter 30 . 10/3/2010
I WAS intending to give you the names through those hints, Narfy. I just thought it would be fun for some reason, my brain can sometimes be wacko on ideas. I forgive you for making the story so long, and I hope I won't be as annoyed with the length of "The Way We Never Should Have Been". Probably I won't be, because I like alternate timelines. BUT if the story lasts for more than 40 chapters, the remainder of my sanity will find me sitting on a bed in a mental hospital. Just kidding, I'll allow you to make the story consist of 40 chapters or more.
Narfy chapter 30 . 10/2/2010
Simpsons Fan!

Ummm you know that giving out those hints, you sort of gave me the names any way. Just saying. But thanks for the review, sorry it was so long, but thats what most stories are, long. So you better be prepared for my next story because that one is going to probably be as long, still thinking that over though.
The Simpsons Fan chapter 30 . 9/28/2010
GODDAMN IT, this took me practically A YEAR to finish this story (actually, it took me a freakin' month, I'm just joking), but aside that, I enjoyed the story. We don't see much fanfics involving the Simpson family going on an adventure in a foreign place, and your piece of work will definitely be remembered as the most majestic as one of them. Because of the length, the story, sadly, didn't make it to the number-one spot of my top ten favorite Simpsons fanfics, but it is at the number-four spot. If you want to know the three stories that I consider better than this one, I will not admit the names, but I WILL give you hints: you; your good friend, Calculated Chaos; and Quick-n-Popular wrote them.

As for that false ending in Ch. 30, I immediately knew that ending never happened. You already had Homer die in your previous story, I found it impossible that you were going to kill off Homer again at such a short rate.

Now to your future plannings. Great to see that you're writing another Simpsons fanfic already, and I can't wait to read it. I'd love to see what would happen if Artie Ziff was gentle to Marge. Man, Homer's going to be PISSED!
Javagirl1992 chapter 30 . 9/28/2010
i finally caught up yes! Incredible. This story makes me laugh, want to cry and read more all at the same time. Even though at times you wanted to delete this story you didn't. And I'm glad for that. This was a good story that was enjoyable to read from the start to the finsh. Good work Narfy well done :)
Bruelock chapter 30 . 9/23/2010
Finally, after a long journey. It has come to a wonderful ending. I laugh out so loud when I read the beginning of the epilogue and then a "Just Joking" part. Ha ha :D a comedy and tragedy starting. Also I'm very flattered thank you very much. In addition, I've rated this great story and is now on my top lists, Sector S's top 7 and company's top 15. Congratz!

Compliments from my parters:

1. Fun and worth reading

2. If you're a The Simpsons fan, you'll never took away from any chapter.

3. I always looked up just to see Narfy's updates.

4. I just can't stop reading!

5. Amazon will be my next vacation location.

6. A good bedtime story for my grandchildren by Top Editor of chief.

7. Convivial and melodramatic by co-editor Bruelock.

Here you go, hope you are satisfied with these. :D

UPDATE! Oh wait, it's already the end.

Fin!
CalculatedChaos chapter 30 . 9/22/2010
Didn't fool me for a second with that fake ending. :P

I was glad to be able to hear about everyone so many years after the events of the story, many of which surprised me and some of your random questioning makes a tiny bit more sense now that I have context. I don't care what you say, I liked this story immensely. I think it helped you grow as a writer and by sticking to your guns for these 11 long months you will find everything you write from now on comes more naturally. Practice really is the best teacher (something I need to stop preaching and start practicing myself). Thanks for finishing this and sharing it with everyone. Can hardly wait for the next one as you are already bugging me about brainstorming for it. :D
capostrophe chapter 30 . 9/22/2010

I would like a peanut!

HA, lovely fake-out there, woman ;P . Also, was that "I didn't make a facebook oage for her, I'm not that crazy" a crack at me?

I liked reading about what happened to everybody. Must be tough moving on but they're all still connected. Glad you finished mon amie, kudos and congrats and all, we're all sitting here anticipating the next story.
bdlywrttn chapter 29 . 9/17/2010
Aww, yay, things are tying up nicely. :)

The family's finally back together and safe, and Homer get to tell his kids just how much they mean to him. I didn't think it was too sappy at all.

Glad Alex and Milo are returning to civilization. It seems they can to a lot of good for the rest of the world. But they can always come back and visit, and help out when they can.

and she'll esoecially have to stick around with Riley ;P . Really excited to read the last chapter.
Bruelock chapter 29 . 9/17/2010
Well, I say this chapter is full of drama. Well, not enough to make me create a tear rolling down my cheek but it really satisfy me though, it really move my heart a little.

In my line of work, I learn people express more powerful feelings by writing in something(combining with imaginary and creativity) than showing physically and mentally to a certain someone(this is where they should get an acting job).

Now I'm puzzling what kind of epilogue you will write. Maybe Riley and Alex dating or even married? Milo became the next "Man VS Wild" star? The little kid in the village became the new chief? Homer returns to his couch with a can beer in his hand surrounded by his beloved family? Buck will be neglected with his boat roaming across the Amazon rivers while humming his favourite tones?

There are lot things you can write! Just very curious...

UPDATE!
Bruelock chapter 28 . 9/17/2010
Wow, this is unexpected. Jagul backstabbed Cuzkaal. This should be in LOL CATZ!

I like chapter A LOT! :D
Bruelock chapter 27 . 9/17/2010
Hey, sorry for my extreme review delay. Ever since I got promoted to co-editor, I was directly assigned to review 2000 Simpsons fictions including, novels, short stories and poetries all around the globe! I thought to myself there's no way but finally I'd finished them all one by one. Good thing they paid be a load first or else I'm in an asylum already.

Now for this chapter's review...

Relieve, Homer's okay(supposely). He only suffers a fatal injury, dislocated body parts and is saved by Shaw and then 'Ta-Da!' He lives. Buck found Milo and he's asking whether Milo has any food to satisfy his hunger. I think this is pretty much that's it... Sorry for the lame review. I'm pushed...
