I just finished watching Trigun and I stumbled upon this fic, and I'm glad I did. You write Wolfwood so well, and the interactions between Wolfwood and Milly were fantastic. Also, I give props to the scene between Wolfwood and Vash. I almost, "almost" cried when Wolfwood died and Milly's reaction in the anime... I need to read the manga because apparently it's quite different. Anyway, fantastic job and I'll be reading your companion piece. :D

Why did I decided to read this again? I KNEW it was going to make me cry. Sucker for torture I guess.

Ahh, the tragedy of Wolfwood/Milly. I can never pair them in my mind without thinking of Wolfwood leeching onto her desperately, trying to get something from her that he's never had before. Hungry & greedy, selfish. Or using her because he can't have Vash. I love this pairing, but it's also very sad for multiple reasons. Anyways, I enjoyed your story a lot and I enjoyed reading this pairing. You wrote it just like I think of it. :)

I cried through this. Totally did. Big fat crocodile tears rolling down my cheeks. Lotta sniffling. Loved Wolfwood's comment about Meryl being Vash's girl even if the two of them won't admit it. The man touches her all the time.

I love how you had Milly be his forgiver, though, though her movements of touching him with her healing hands (which you've commented on in "Tension") and just giving herself over to him. Makes his comments to himself at the end all the more bittersweet.

This was so good. You've really brought so much depth to Wolfwood, really well written. Instant favorite.
