I must agree. I recently discovered I hadn't played a female Aeducan/ I instantly fell for Gorim/Aeducan romance and was utterly devastated. I too, did NOT handle that well. I am so glad to find a fanfiction that will surely satisfy the need for closure on this front. Well written introduction!

I absolutely adore this story and the way you portray Gorim. And thank you for giving some depth to the seemingly sudden change of heart Gorim seemed to have on the surface in-game. I do hope you'll continue at some point, for it really is a lovely story.

great story so far. In case you have never taken shale on the anvil quest, though, it is revealed there that shale was a woman in that quest, not a man, though she still would have complimented the dress, since she really likes pretty things

July was ages ago D: Great story... I hated in-gamee Gorim when I found him in Denerim. I called his wife a ugly hag or something, it made my character feel better xD

I've never played as a female character, but think of it this way. It takes months to get from one side of Ferelden to the other, and even longer with distractions, so it would make sense that Gorim found another woman.

But if it took less time, like maybe a couple weeks, I'm sure Gorim would have joined you. Maybe not as a warrior (seeing as he was crippled on his way to Denirum) but as a romance opposition and maybe a smith.

Good story so far.

I was heartbroken when I found out he was married too lol I loved Gorim as a Character from the moment he was introduced in the story. Your rant is totally understandable, I did something similar when I found out.
