What an interesting and very plausable look at Tony's visits to the basement.

I had never thought of his visits in this way before and your sensitive portrayal of Tony's rationale for them makes a lot of sense. This might even explain why Tony never visits Gibbs anymore these last few seasons. Gibbs got all pissy; Tony decided that was enough. Unfortunately, Gibbs never made another effort to be friends with his SFA. The show's writers don't think they're friends at all now.

Thank you for a sad but insightful look at what used to be a highlight of the show.

You pictured Tony and Gibbs perfectly. And I would like to see more. It definitely deserve a sequel. Brilliant story.

This is one of the most beaufifull written stories I have ever read. [And I've been reading fanfic for 3 yeears now.] You portrayed Tony's mask and Gibbs' complexity perfectly. Amazing, amzaing job. Ican easily say that this is my favorite story-and I'm very careful with choosing my favorites. Please keep writing, you have a real talent.

please continue this story somehow! this is a lot of how I see Tony - a man-boy hiding behind a million masks. a series of one shots, or just one more - I want a bit more resolution than this gives.

I loved this! You capture Tony's complexity and Gibbs' frustrating denseness perfectly. It would be so great if you made a sequel or continuation of it.

I am going to say thi because it's the truth, and not some primped up comment. This has got to be one of my favorite FanFiction's I have ever read, and trust me, I've read alot. I don't think there was one thing that you could have done to make this better than it already is. My only mistake is to not see this story sooner. Great storylike and description of Tony's character and reaction by both Tony and Gibbs about that unasked questio. I think that was a great relationship that the two men shared and the ending was priceless. Great work and wonderful storyline. You can expect me to come back and read this story over, and over again.
