Love the story!

that was a really touching story

Wow! Just...wow. Lovely but sad story. This touched me deeply. I lost someone I loved to cancer, and it hurt so much. Like Tim's mother, we truly thought he had beaten it, but in the end, the cancer won. So glad Tim had his team...BOTH his families on his six, even if it took a while.

Ha. I know the route Tim is taking quite well. That's the Interstate way from Richmond, VA to Harrisburg, PA.

I just noticed you use the word "the" in front of Interstate designations. Are you from the West Coast?

The Yost case was one of my all time favorite episodes. Not only that I happen to love Faith so when you brought her in I loved it. She was kind of sarcastic in the episode and I loved it. like when she had asked if they really expected her to believe that an old man escaped out a window. and then Tim telling her he will put an apb in walker rentals. loved it.

I have read this story about half a dozen times now. I have read all of your stories a few times now actually. Yet, it still surprises me how quickly some of them, especially this one makes me break down so easily. it's so sad yet written so amazingly well. Cancer tends to be a subject people don't throw themselves into willingly if they can help it. still I love this story.

That was a great story. It was also sad one to read. Glad Tim got home safe and sound.

Trying to put into words how I feel about this story is so hard. I love it. It's become my own little Christmas tradition. It is truly one of my favorite stories. Everyone is so delightfully in character and perfectly in tune with the spirit of the holidays. It's pretty much perfect.

Every so often I reread my favorite authors' stories from their oldest to newest. Making my way through yours (again) now and *expletive* that last line. Every time I read it it's like a punch to the gut, even after all this time. Hope you're doing well.
