I saw September 14th and I'm like happy dancing on my bed... Cuz my birthday is 9/14 but 09' wasn't my best year... I lost my granddad on 2/15/09 and I haven't been the same since... I love this story!

Anywho, I know this story was published a few years back so I'm a bit late, but bravo. I really enjoyed it all in all. I'm going to have to go do something happy now to cheer myself up. first: When I read that Devon gouged Bill's eyes out, I mouthed a silent "hecky YEAH!" XD

second: I totally saw some chemistry between Zoey and the pilot. Or maybe it was just me. :o

third: I swear my heart was beating so hard, I knew something bad would happen. Devon shouldn't have been the 1st to be tested! I knew it, I friggin knew it! ARG.

last: Good way to end...I guess...

Meh, I'm just saying that because I want to cry now, it was an AMAZING ending. T_T

Scarily moving, this struggle against all odds and the dramatic conclusion. Why was it devon, not any of the other countless Hunters, did he let himself be caught or did he simply stay in the vicinity and was an easy catch because of his love for Zoey? I guess it does not matter in the end. Brilliantly written!

First of all, AMAZING STORY! You are a truly gifted writer! I always love fics where Zoey falls in love with a Hunter, and to be honest, I don't think there's enough fics out there with Zoey/Hunter in them. But your story was really amazing and I loved every chapter! I have to ask, though, was that a Sweeney Todd reference at the end of chapter 5? If so, more kudos to you! Keep doing what you're doing!
