I always return to this series every year or so and it still brings a smile to my face. i've been horribly guilty for a majority of my fanfic reading life of only thoughtlessly alerting or favoriting a story so I would just like to say thank you for this wonderful series because it is a balm to my fanfic needs when I get bogged down by lacking substance or material of new fandom obsessions. Thank you, thank you, thank you :)

Another lovely piece of descriptive writing, but not so much of a plot in this one. It was more like romance for romance's sake, which is fine if you just want a nice shot of fluff. Still a bit miffed as to where this deep relationship has come from all of a sudden. We know her motivation (well, what woman wouldn't understand that?) but what about him? Why is he so powerfully drawn to this woman? I just don't really believe this relationship, much as I want to (as I said before, it's beautifully written, and the fluff content is very satisfying).

I guess what I'm after is a bit more grit and substabce. Perhaps it will be forthcoming in the next instalment...

Fantastic - this is my favourite of your four Julia/Ardeth stories. I am completely jealous, you are a brilliant writer. The story is extremely tight, the atmosphere you create is both tangible and electrifying.

In short I love it - I always loved Ardeth from the films and am delighted to find these cute stories about him.

Well done - I bow to your superior talent.
