The image of a happy elf looting some stuff after decapitating a bandit sure is funny. In a weird and creepy way, but still funny. Also, I wonder how long it will take until Alistair snaps.

Lenya's reaction towards the joining seems to be all-too-realistic. This is how any reasonable person would probably react if they had to witness such a scene and then realize that they had to drink blood.

This is wonderful. The way Lenya even manages to bring even Duncan close to a meltdown is both hilarious and shows just how much she hates her situation. The idea that he had to turn back several times in order to get her back gives you the feeling that she REALLY doesn't want to be around humans. And I love how you managed to portray her in a way that she didn't want to come along at all. When playing the actual game I always felt like "Oh, now I have to leave? Well, since it helps to move the plot along, let's do this!" Here there is so much more emotion involved.

I just finish to read your story and whoa it was amazing. Thank you to write your big story. It takes me weeks to read but I regret nothing. Sorry for my langage skills I am a better reader than writer in this langage.

I came here following a story posted on the bioware forums (too many) years ago and found joy, wonder, excitement, tears, and all the other wondrous feelings and places to which you, the true wonder-makers, take us.

For FF you keep us with those characters we came to love, and took us on journeys not expected (even if we knew where some of them eventually would lead). You expose us to different thoughts and ideas, perspectives that might have been done a dozen different ways by many authors, but each something new and different to explore. You show us the vision of a world that is shared, but uniquely yours at the same time. Each time leaving us with a new Warden, Shepard, Exile, Dragon, Dark Lord (and so on), with which to keep in fond memory.

Thank you for your efforts. This Reader most appreciates them.

I think the whole part with Lenya falling into a coma after killing the Archdemon made the ending drag out too long for little reason. I also got a little annoyed with how Alistair acted during this time. While I can certainly understand how stressed he might feel with Lenya's status undetermined and her life hanging on a string, it does not excuse how he treated others and the abandonment of his duties.

It's a cruel irony that after all that time Leliana spent trying to befriend Lenya, she left because she found it too painful to stay after Zevran's death.

I am interested in seeing what you have in store for "Dragon Age: Awakening," especially how you will handle the interactions between Nathaniel Howe and Evelyn Cousland. My favorite banter in "Awakening" was that between Nathaniel and Velanna, so I hope you include those sparks in your AU.

I definitely intend to take a look at the revised chapters you will be uploading on Ao3, as it was those early parts that I found difficult to get through. But to be fair, when I look back at some stuff I wrote seven years ago, I also come to the conclusion they could have been written better.

Again, congratulations on finishing this story, and well done!

It has been a long journey, with a few downs and ups and now you reached a milestone. You finally finished your version of Dragon Age Origins after a very long time, but you did it, whatever may come in the future, you finished this story, this part of Lenya's live is over and no one can take that from you!

And Lenya burning the Archdemon in the end is a fitting end. It began with that asshole and it ended with him.

Let me first congratulate for finishing this story, there aren't many stories out here with approx. 1 million words! Just that it's astonishing and all kinds of awesome.
But the fact is that your story isn't about quantity, but quality, and damn what a journey it was.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us and especially for never giving up on it, only you know how hard it must have been at times.
