The story has me intrigued...

Even though the last part near the end was a scary scenario indeed. That Nihilus creep is bad enough but the idea...*shudders fearfully* That's VERY disturbing.

I noticed that this story was last updated over a year ago. I don't want to be one of those readers who begs writers to update stories; but I would love to see how this one ends. Will there be an epilogue or a sequel in which Keren is reunited with her parents - maybe in Shem Hadar?

I am absolutely loving this story! Great idea to include Paul and explore the characters' backgrounds. I think it's cute that Zak has a love interest. And I liked the historical and biblical notes.

I'm really glad to have found a spiritual fan fiction. As a matter of fact, the other day I felt really guilty because I've read a couple fan fiction stories that got kind of … amoral. (I learned Theology of the Body this year in CCD, but obviously people have different opinions and standards.) But then I found this story. I guess can be good or evil, so to speak. I'm just glad to find a story that's kind of uplifting.

This seems interesting. I have watched precisely one episode of this show to see what it was about, and I'm sorry to say that you are more historically accurate than the original source material. (They didn't have cupcakes in Ancient Rome!) At least, I don't think they did.

But anyway, there were some minor historical errors here, such as the length of Nero's reign. Nero only reigned from 64 to 66 or 67, I think, so there is no way that he could have been considered an outstanding young Emperor decades previously. You must have confused him with Caligula, who reigned about three decades before Nero, and did have a downward spiral from upstart young Emperor to a descent into madness and downright tyranny. That happened sometimes in the days of absolute monarchy. (Henry VI is another example.)

The idea that Nero caused the fire is now discredited, but considering that that's the explanation given in the cartoon, I'll let it slide. That's more a case of the cartoon writers not doing the research. Speaking of the fire, that obviously implies that this is a prequel of sorts to the animated series, and so, I'll be interested in seeing what else you do with this.
