You write very beautiful imagery! i especially liked "..carved your way to the top", and the "bloody throne". this is one of my favorite short fics, definitely! thank you!

I found Zevran the easiest to romance, all of my characters have bedded him and got the earring. Mind you, I do save each time before I talk to him as one time I didn't, I said something wrong, and his reaction was so heartbreaking I re-loaded at once :(

this is awesome, i love it. yeah, my current character is a Dalish elf rogue, and i know what you mean about Zevran being difficult...though i have gotten the earring :)

Oh this did funny things to my heart. Love the darkness of it, especially the brief but effective characterization of your Surana, and how screwed up Zev is as consequence.

Gotta agree with you on the difficulty of romancing Zev, and then after going through all that just to go and die on him, I for one felt horrible... but that's what separate save files are for.

I really liked this, very well written and controlled. Emotive without needing to descend into unneeded details or over-explanations about motives, words and emotions. You managed to paint a full and rich picture of a complex relationship and months of adventure in a very economical and tight way. I don't actually like slash stories very much because they usually feel really artificial (usually making men behave emotionally like women, when actual homosexual relationships are very different), so for me to have really enjoyed this was something :) I can't find anything to critique at all. Keep up the good work!

Did the exact same thing. It took me, like, 20 seconds from start to finish to talk to Zevran and then get him in bed. I'm thinking, "Zev, you man slut!" and then afterward he wanted to TALK and yeah, I totally pissed him off.

Ah, well. Morrigan always has a place for me in her tent.

Lovely story. It's a nice look at what poor, depressed Crows might do with the rest of their lives.

I would love it if you wrote a fic about your Dalish elf! I really enjoy your writing style and, let's face it, there's not enough fanfiction out there where Zevran is the romantic interest! (I love Alistair, but I love Zevran more!)
