I am SO confused right now. Bella told Carlisle she would be visiting her mom during his grand opening. Edward recaps in his POV how he had wanted her to accompany him to his dad's grand opening, but she would be out of town, and goes on to say how it is for the best since he would just be all googly eyed anyway.

Yet he sweeps up the flowers and his keys and goes to pick up "the woman who WOULD BE accompanying him to the grand opening", and she does, as the last chapter ended with CPOV seeing her enter the room.

What am i missing?

I love Bella/Carlisle fics, and this one is wonderful!
I really didn't know which one was going to be the one until the very end. The decision made me sad for Edward, but very happy for Carlisle.

I'm so glad that she ended up with Carlisle in this version. I always preferred him over Edward. I've seen the other ending, but didn't really care for it, so this one is the one that got marked as a favourite. Thank you for it.

Yay! Thank god for this ending! I read the other one first, and I was so bummed. Team Carlisle all the way! Though Edward was so wonderful and I hated to see him hurt, I think Carlisle is such an amazing guy who deserves the best of everything in life. :D
