Almariado chapter 73 . 11/26/2017
I wish I could put into writing the words to describe how amazing this story is to me.
But since you never gave up on this and you obviously made a big effort to see it through to the end, it's more then fair that I would also make an effort to describe the different emotions this story made me go through as I read it.
The plot you came up with to explain why the war had started between the two universes and the reason behind Peter's abduction is very imaginative and entrancing.
Not only that, the science you apply to it seems very believable. Honestly, there were times I didn't know where real science ended and fiction began.
But what truly makes this one of the best stories in the Fringe Fandom are the interactions between the characters.
All the wonderful moments that this story is so prodigal, could be published as oneshots and they would be among the best oneshots in the fandom.
I love the way you portrayed Olivia, Peter, Walter and Astrid and all their interactions.
Then, much to my delight, you have a very queen sense of humour. There are so many comic scenes that made me laugh whole heartedly.
The hilarious scene between Peter and the 'conspiracy theorists' in this last chapter is an example.
But not only that, the way you insert small humorous elements in the middle of 'normal' scenes are just delicious. Like "Beauty queen of the Yetis" when Olivia makes a very annoyed Peter go after her outside to the snow in a middle of blizzard, or "The VCR had mitosed over night" when Walter shows Peter what happened in the New Room. They were a pure joy to read and also made me laugh.
On the other end, the more 'serious' scenes were also delightful to read.
The scene at the piano store, how you describe the moment Olivia falls in love with Peter and how he perceives that exact same moment (this scene was monumental, bravo!), and so many others.
This is only from the top of my head because there is so much to like in this story of yours that I could go on and on.
A special word towards 'your' Astrid. Although she wasn't the main character in your story, which is totally understandable, you took the time to give her a life of her own. So many times not only on the show but also on other stories in the fandom we only see Astrid within the scope of Fringe Division, which sometimes makes it seem that she's only there to take care of Walter and clean up after him. Giving us a small glimpse on her social life was refreshing, because to me, made it seem that the character was more complete, that I was seeing her through a whole new and much more in-depth perspective.
And also the brother-sister relation she has with Peter and the father-daughter with Walter was wonderful to read. I very much appreciate the fact that you gave her a life outside Fringe Division, with a girlfriend and everything. Thank you for that.
I do hope you publish the epilogue you promised. Knowing you track record I know you will publish it, even if it is one or two years from now. I really don't mind waiting, because it will give a great excuse to read this from the beginning once more.
Thank you so so much for all the effort you put into this and for giving us the privilege to enjoy it for free.
It is an amazing story, among my all time favourites in the Fringe Fandom and definitely one I will go back to every now and then.

Quite a chapter! I hope your epilogue does not begin with Belly breaking his ancient ankle when he lands clumsily after one of his jumps.
I must confess that, the first time I read The End, I was a bit underwhelmed. I recognized that I had forgotten many of the plot twists, so I started re-reading beginning with chapter 63 before my first attempt at chapter 73. I found that I didn't quite get it, so I began a full re-read, heeding Maria von Trapp's admonition that a good place to start is at the beginning.
Armed with 72 chapters worth of story line, I tackled The End anew and was very pleased and nearly satisfied. You have managed to bring this saga back around to its roots, and Olivia and Peter have once again saved the world(s). You showed us how in chapter 73. I look forward to learning in your epilogue why what they did worked.
I want to compliment you on daring to take Fringe on this wild journey while maintaining the character relationships developed during the series. It is a testament to your skill as a writer that I readily heard the voices of Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson while reading your renditions of Olivia's and Peter's repartees. Well done!
MorgannaLeFae chapter 73 . 10/8/2017
There's an amazing effervescent joy to watching this story come to a perfect, impossible close. I haven't been nearly as good about reviewing as I should have been, but I've been following this story from almost the beginning, and it's been a strange wonderful companion through a slew of life changes. Every time a notification popped up in my inbox, I have always been left with a blink of surprise and slow dawning excitement. It's only in retrospect do I realize how much of this has influenced the ways that I think of and approach characterization and characters, the close focus and caught up togetherness of it all.

So, for seven years of perseverance, for seven years of words and aching, for seven years of wonder and curiosity and bafflement, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I loved how Peter and Olivia breached the void and lived through the experience. Please continue.

Crystalyte chapter 73 . 10/2/2017
I can't believe it's ending. I'm just as sad as I was when the show ended. It's been a wonderful, twisted, and amazing ride. Thank you for every word.
wendelah1 chapter 1 . 1/15/2017
This looks so good (and I love your writing) but I am allergic to WIPs. For one thing, I always have to start all over again and read from the beginning whenever they get updated. Are you getting close? Are you planning to finish it?
