Wow...this is brilliant!

A very good story written by our own Jack of the Blades! This was in my opinion a very delicious one-shot. Short and sweet, and narrated in such a way that I had no trouble thinking, feeling, and seeing as the protagonist Henry. Or One Four Six if he would so prefer. I get the overall impression the author thought hard on whether or not to expand in detail upon certain parts in the story to create a bigger impact, though it may just be me. Personally, I'm struck by the feeling, as such a person who tends to have rambling thoughts and tends to jam pack my stories (that will be published eventually!) full of unnecessary detail, that Jack did a very good job of walking a very thin rope, and succeeded.

The whole story flowed and felt very natural, while serving to be narrative. It's very tragic, but not necessarily angsty-ish. It's sweetly tragic, without a brooding protagonist moments before and during his death. Very well done Jack *Claps*.

An emotional story, and original at that- not many stories detail a Spartan who failed the augmentations.

A couple of names are missing, but that's okay- it doesn't detract from the story. And also, it could serve to be a fair bit longer- you write a lot better than some others on this site, and it's a bit of a shame that this ended so quickly.

One tiny factual glitch- the Spartans were kidnapped from their family and pronounced dead- they wouldn't have met their families on 'graduation' day. Other than that, well done.
