I love the concept. It’s believable as you’ve written it, and one can assume all benders could see while blind (water in air and blood; air movement and pressure). I don’t see a story you used this in, which is a shame. I love creative AUs, even when they are short oneshots.

would love to see Toph’s and the other’s reactions to figuring this out! I can totally see Toph loving hanging with Zuko because of this. Also, makes me wonder how good Zuko’s “heat sense” is given his Blue Spirit activities. This is a really interesting oneshot :)

I love this concept so much! And I loved the way you wrote this! I wish there was more because you did such a great job with this and I'm dying to read more of this Zuko. I know you wrote this absolute ages ago and you've probably long since moved on, but if you ever do decide to come back to/expand on this verse/concept, just know that I would absolutely LOVE to read anything you ever have and would be beyond thrilled if you ever do write more. This is BRILLIANT!

Would love to see where this goes. It seems to me that heat vision could get tricky at the poles, everything is cold and people wear warm clothing that stops much of the body heat from escaping into the surroundings. The extra layers might also interfere with perception on his end as well, if he "sees" by feeling heat in the surroundings he would need skin exposed to the surroundings, a bit like how Toph never wears shoes.

Oh and Toph! her and Zuko meeting could be epic in this AU. Especially if nobody knows about his blindness yet.
