Great fic, i love it

I'm not sure how I missed review in this before but this story is absolute perfection. There are only certain scenarios where I can see Scarlett following Rhett to Charleston and this is one of the. Besides the fights there was little melodrama, which is how I always saw their reconciliation. I love how realistic each of their point of views were. I honestly believe that Rhett's thoughts were so truthful. In my mind there's no way he could stop loving her. I'm glad that you allowed him to give in and finally face his fears. I love this softer Scarlett, who is uncharacteristically close to giving up. Thanks for sharing.

Rhett Butler lost his heart to Katie Scarlett O'Hara long ago at Twelve Oaks and his life was never truly complete whenever they were estranged. Your version of Rhett coming full circle to realize that "playing it safe" with Scarlett, forever in possession of his heart, was not a life worth living!

Mocking Ripley's ridiculous sequel was satisfying and added to the fun. So grateful for your GWTW insight that won't allow Rhett to carry on another day before reuniting with the true owner of his own heart.

Wow. I loved it.

I can’t envision Scarlett swallowing her pride and chasing Rhett to Charleston (Well, at least she brought her children together with her. Good for her!), but I love this story nonetheless. You know how to get our emotions flowing and us connect to Scarlett and Rhett. Your writing is beautiful. (I don’t know how to put it another way) The parallels between their musings (the impasse, bend-and-break part) captured their situation perfectly. I’ve read many GWTW fanfic but none tops the last two paragraphs in your story as the perfect ending. Thank you for writing this fic. I hope your enthusiasm for GWTW fanfic gets rekindled some day.
