Great story. I've been waiting for a confrontation like this between Gaius and Merlin to happen on the show. I also agree that no one would believe that the dragon was truely dead. Please get to Merlin revealing himself soon.

This is a really good interpretation of where season 3 could go. The Last Dragonlord really brought alot of emotional issues to the surface which probably won't be examined in such detail in the actual show. Your story is a really good follow on from the last episode for all of us wanting the full consequences of season 2 to actually occur. Keep up the great work :D
