I'm inspired to read the series after enjoying this fanfiction, which I assume represents its characters faithfully and provides a more definitive conclusion to the series.

I really liked this one-shot. Kind of how I figured Jake would go. I remember after reading 54 how my father told me their was a point in everyone's life when they reached the top and its at that point they should be allowed to go. I always figured Jake would be denied that opportunity and you capture that here. Good short story.

That was great! Love how Jake's still looking for forgiveness and Erek still won't give it. Also, props to you for sticking to the plotline AND writing about a post-54 word. Good job.

Really wonderful. It feels so fitting for Jake as a character. He couldn't forgive himself, even after all those years. I liked how you went into the other character deaths as well. This line in particular stuck out to me: "Her smile was gorgeous and self-mocking, a slight head tilt challenging anyone to mistake her for another dumb blonde." Perfect characterization. I'll have to check out a few more of your fics.
